Motordromes were wooden arena-like structures built for a popular sport during the 1910s and 1920s called Board Track Racing. St. Louis had one of the most remarkable motordromes of them all. It was located in Priester's Park, an amusement resort that was located at the intersection of Grand and Meramec in South City.
The history of Board Track Racing at the St. Louis Motordrome will be presented at the Feasting Fox Restaurant and Pub on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, beginning at 7:00 PM.
