R.H. Olson Member of Excellence Award
Established in 2014, the R.H. Olson Member of Excellence Award is presented annually at the Spirit of St. Louis Region - CCCA Annual Meeting. This award honors those members who are dedicated to the antique and Classic automobile hobby. Each member who is honored with this award has shown great interest, passion, leadership and generosity in all areas of the antique and Classic automobile hobby by participation which may include, but not be limited to, Tours, CARavans, Open Houses, Car Shows, Board of Directors seats, other leadership positions in the hobby, and continuing education and awareness of the antique and Classic automobile.
Each member who is honored must be a member of the Classic Car Club of America as well as a member of the Spirit of St. Louis Region of the Classic Car Club of America. However, criteria for those considered for this award will be based on their participation in the antique and Classic automobile hobby as a whole, including their level of participation in other antique and Classic automobile clubs in the United States of America, especially in and around the surrounding areas of St. Louis, MO. Ownership of a Classic Car is not mandatory for consideration for the award. Each member honored will be in possession of the award for one year and will pass the award on to the next honored member at the Spirit of St. Louis Region of the Classic Car Club of America Annual Meeting.
